Krablitz
Classification: Highly Magical Monstrous Humanoids
What sick and twisted mind came up with the krablit? It’s said that they are the product of an experiment gone wrong. Perhaps it was a twisted technomancer’s plot to combine magic and technology into one creature to act as his soldiers. Perhaps they are the evolution of daemons that existed underneath a god who died long ago. Maybe they are sent by the creator to punish mortals for trying to play god with their experiments by twisting them against them.
A krablit is a creature of flesh with a life-force of its own. It can stand on its own somewhere between a dwarf and a troll in height. However, it rarely stays “on its own.” In its flesh are scrawled symbols that never go away, and these symbols seem to have a magical property that absorb acceptable objects, and graft them to it. This can change its size and shape considerably, depending on what it grafts to. The face of a krablit has eyes which appear as black pearls, round and perfect, but void of emotion. The mouth has nothing but gums inside, but sometimes ends up having nails and broken dagger-blades stuck in it for teeth. A krablit is one of those exceptions that doesn’t need to eat, due to its highly magical nature.

TimewarpVortex is a table-top RPG that uses a d100 system. Basically the game is built around player customization, and the ability to have tons of different species in a game, a massive amount of choices, and yes... different eras. It's a game that mixes the best elements of fantasy RPGs with the more interesting elements of video games.

With the first release there will be 12 different species to choose from, and a class tree that has more paths to take than most can bear to look at. With a slew of combat skills and a ton of non-combat antics to pull off, TwV is looking to make itself known as the most diverse system ever, (without being too open ended.)
